Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Renegade, we're gonna be test fitting the Inno Slim Fork roof mounted bike rack, part number INA387. The bike actually attaches to the rack. We're not gonna have any frame contact at all. Instead, we're gonna have a grip by the fork mounts up at the front. Like with other Inno bike racks, this is protected by a cover, which is lockable, so once this is installed, the bike is gonna be secured to the bike rack as you can't remove the skewer with this locked cover. It's also secured to the roof rack as you can't loosen the front clamp here without removing this cover as well. more

Instead, we're going to have it gripped by the fork mounts up here with this skewer mount up at the front, which is held into place by this cover, which is lockable. Once this is locked into place, not only is your bike secured to the bike rack, but the bike rack is going to be secured to your roof rack as well.At the rear we're going to have this strap, which is adjustable the length of the bike rack to accommodate for different bike sizes. With everything installed as you see it here, we're not going to have any issues of clearance between the hatch of this particular vehicle and the bike rack. more

Instead, we're going to have it gripped by the fork mounts up front here with this skewer, which is blocked off by this plastic piece here underneath our cover. And since this is lockable, not only is it secured to our roof rack, but our bike is also secured to our bike rack, as well, since they can't actually tamper that or open up the skewer. more

Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.How the bike attaches to the rack, we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead, it's going to actually grip around the tire up at the front here, and then we're going to have two wheel straps on either end. Now, a lot of rooftop bike racks will have you take off the front wheel, so having a grip around the tire and not have to remove anything, that is pretty different. With everything installed as it is, we're not going to have an issue of clearance between the hatch and the bike rack as you can see here.So, let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To do that we'll come to the straps first, push this tab up at the top in on both sides. more

Yakima Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Renegade we're gonna be test fitting the Yakima HighSpeed Rooftop Bike Rack, part number Y02115. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.How this bike is attached to the rack, we're not gonna have any frame contact at all. Instead, it's gonna grip it by the fork mounts here, with our skewer, which is placed inside this area here. Now, this will also work with through axles from 12, to 15, to 20 mm, and they do lock into place once you use those with this empty lock here, which you can replace with the Yakima Same Key Lock System, which you can find on etrailer.com, and make everything keyed alike on your roof.We also have rear wheel strap here, which is adjustable the length of the bike rack to accommodate bikes of different sizes. And with everything installed we're not gonna have an issue of clearance between the rear hatch and the bike rack, as you can see here. For another point of security, it does have an integrated cable lock at the end here, which again, you'll need to purchase a Same Key Lock System to put in that as well, to secure your bike to the bike rack.So let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

That'll hold that into place and you can also remove this plastic portion here and replace it with a Thule Lock Core to secure your bike to the bike rack and also make a key to like with your other roof rack accessories. At the rear here we do have this wheel strap, which is adjustable along the length of the bike rack to accommodate bikes of different sizes. Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Renegade, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack hybrid rooftop bike rack. Part number RRRBC050. We already have the bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.How this bike is attached to the bike rack, we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead, we're going to have this wheel hook up at the front and two wheel straps on either side, which are adjustable to accommodate bikes of different sizes.Now this is pretty unique to most rooftop bike racks is this grips it by the wheel completely instead of having to remove the wheel and using a fork mount. With everything installed as it is right now, we're not going to have any issues of clearance between our rear hatch and the bike rack as you can see here there's plenty of space.So let's take the bike off and set it aside. We'll start by the wheel straps here by pushing these tabs up at the top in, like so on both sides. more

Now I already have the bike on the rack and we have it hooked to our vehicle. I'm going to show you a few features of it. Now this is a fork mounted bike rack. We see we have our skewer engaged. Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule ThruRide Roof Bike Rack, part number is TH535. We have the bike on our rack and we have our rack hooked to our vehicle. Just going to show you a few features of it. This is a fork mounted bike rack, you see here we have our skewer engaged. To disengage it, we just unloosen there, on the other side we can unloosen there to make it tighten or loosen it. We'll go ahead and put that back engaged. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, we're going to take a look at the Rocky Mount Brass Knuckle Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is RKY1202. We already have our bike on our rack and we have the rack hooked to our vehicle. Just going to show you a few features of it. First thing I want to show you, like they say, brass knuckles, there you go, that's how you do it. What you want to do is, disengage it, the little blue button here, you're going to push up, or to engage it, you grab it like this brass knuckles, bring it down, right there in front of your front wheel, off your brake or off your spokes, and there you go. You just keep going until it stops clicking. more

Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Renegade- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, we're going to take a test fit of the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack. That part number is TR02. Now we already have a bike on our rack, so we'll show you a few features of it. The first feature I'd like to show you, this is a fork mounted bike rack. As you can see, the skewer's engaged, so to disengage we just pull out and we can actually tighten and loosen it on the other side. Let's move toward the back. In the wheel crater itself, we just have our back tire with a strap. more
